Clothes Washing Machine: Certificate Expiry Date
Applicable to washing machines where Cl. 20.106 (prevention of unintentional starting of the appliance with front-opening doors) applies; any new or renewed certificates where Cl. 20.106 is applicable and there is no evidence of compliance with Cl. 20.106 as modified by Amendment 1 of AS/NZS 60335.2.7:2020 will have a certification date limited to Nov. 29, 2027.
If Cl. 20.106 is not applicable to the washing machine, a certificate may be issued for a full five years.
General Guidance EESS #25-076
Acceptance of Components Listed in IECEE CB Test Reports – Customer Testing Facilities (CTF)
