- Class I water heater accessible metal parts (including metal part behind decorative cover) required to be reliably earthed (even if it meets reinforced insulation distance/gap requirements) (Cl. 27.1).
- Class II and Class III water heaters shall not have protective earthing (Cl. 27.1).
- Safety extra-low voltage (SELV) circuits shall not be earthed unless they are protective extra-low voltage (Cl. 27.1).
- Additional instruction for heat exchange closed water heaters that can be retrofitted with immersion heater units and immersion heater units to be retrofitted in a heat exchange closed water heater (Cl. 7.12.1; Annex AA 7.12.1).
- Test to be carried out on each model and trademark of the heat exchange closed water heater listed in immersion heater unit’s installation instructions (Annex AA.5.AZ101).
